Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee Teacher Awards

Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee offer EIGHT Teacher Awards awards worth $2000 each for teachers whose programme or initiative instils a love of language in their students.

The Award also includes a travel and accommodation package so the successful recipient can travel to Wellington to receive their award at a banquet dinner and watch the 2023 Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee Final 3-4 November.

Eligibility

Full-time or part-time teachers who teach in a New Zealand school (Years 0-13).

Teachers and their schools do not have to be registered with a Aotearoa New Zealand Spelling Bee programme to apply for an Award.
