Education Perfect, the online learning platform that uses technology to improve student learning outcomes, hosts the online version of the New Zealand Spelling Bee. This means the New Zealand Spelling Bee Wordlists are now in an electronic format so that students can access them directly. The wordlists are broken up into subject groups to help the students learn the words before they move onto the next subject group.
Education Perfect has also recorded New Zealand Spelling Bee Pronouncer, Owen Scott, pronouncing the words so students can now test themselves whilst learning the wordlists.
It is FREE to use New Zealand Spelling Bee resources on the Education Perfect platform and we recommend teachers use this option.
Further, the 2020 New Zealand Spelling Bee Test week in June will be available through Education Perfect so that teachers can choose to read the words to their students or their students can do it online. Either way students can do the test through Education Perfect so that teachers no longer have the arduous task of marking all the papers. They can also get a detailed report on their students results.
When you register for the New Zealand Spelling Bee indicate you would like to receive the resources through Education Perfect and a representative from Customer Service will arrange this. Teachers can register on Education Perfect for the online Classroom Bee resources up to the 31st of July 2020. The resources will be available on EP (for registered schools to access) until the 30th of November 2020.
If you are an existing Education Perfect user, the Spelling Bee resources will already be loaded up in your content library!
